Reverie models will glide across the glittering runway in handcrafted foot jewelry made by JCI Fashion Students Natasha Jaswal, Kandyce Pizzolon and Krista Makowecky.
Unlike other runway shows instead of wearing shoes, the models will be barefoot with their feet ornamented. Golden chains, beads and florals were made into foot accessories that will add to the styling of the show. The show will present a feeling of fanciful musing, a dream like state with a Baroque inspired feel. Gilded mirrors, chandeliers and the glittering runway will add to this feeling of Reverie.
Reverie the fashion show happens today at Performance Works (Granville Island), doors open at 6pm with space for socializing and drinks, then the fashion show starts at 7:30pm. Tickets for JCI’s Reverie Fashion Show in support of Looking Glass Foundation are $20 in advance, $25 at the door or $15 for current JCI students. Tickets are available at JCI (220 Cambie).
