Golden Globes Fashion 2017

01.2017

Chances are you were among the 20 million people watching the Golden Globes last night! The 74th annual award ceremony celebrated the best in film and American television from 2016. Jimmy Fallon hosted the eventful evening, but La La Land really stole the show by winning all 7 categories it was nominated in. Though the big night is centered around film and TV, the focus is often on what everyone is wearing. This year was no exception!

We’ve rounded up some of our favourite looks from the event. What did you think? Sound off in the comments about who you think was best dressed!

Blake Lively in Versace

This is no ordinary little black dress! The Versace gown has stunning silver details, including everyone’s favourite – pockets!

Drew Barrymore in Monique Lhuilleier

This boho beaded number also features a cape-like sleeve. Totally gorgeous pleated details too!

Issa  Rae in Christian Siriano

This simple and elegant bright white number was a stand out choice with its high neck and long sleeves. Issa looks beautiful in it!

Ruth Negga in Louis Vuitton

This custom futuristic gown shone bright on the red carpet. We loved the sleeves and detail on the bodice.

Emma Stone in Valentino

This dress got a lot of attention – especially when Emma described it as “pink  and there are stars on it” during an interview! She’s right, and we think it was a beautiful choice.
