John Casablancas and AXIS Training Systems have teamed up to proudly offer BC's first of its kind Hair Art Design Program.  In response to the changing needs in the hair industry, the January 2004 deregulation of the BC Licensing Program has opened the market for a new generation of hair training schools.  Following the example of Britain and Quebec, BC has tossed the "archaic" curriculum (whereby students were required 1500 hours of schooling or two years of in-salon apprenticeship) to make way for a faster, modernized approach to salon training. The Hair Art Design Program is the only accredited program in BC approved for a 500-hour curriculum.

AXIS founder Foster Eastman says, "in six months our students will have acquired the tools and skills required to work in salons on today's clients."  This is Hair University!  It is a place for eager, self-motivated students who are serious about starting a new career."
