Samantha St. John, Megan Sheppard, and Tiera Murray will be competing in the Beauty Fantasy category which involves a carnival and circus theme while Molly McKay will be competing in the Character Prosthetic category based from four decades of Star Wars. Makeups must be original characters inspired by the movies and should not reflect actual characters.
Competing in the IMATS Battle of the Brushes can give your career a huge boost. Competitors’ work will be seen by industry leaders, all attendees, and of course thousands of social media users. Finalists also get a chance of having their art featured in IMATS ad campaigns and magazines.
IMATS Vancouver will be happening on July 16 and 17th, with the Character/Prosthetic competition happening on the Saturday and the Beauty/Fantasy competition happening on the Sunday. Stay tuned on the blog as we get to know these four talented ladies a little more!
