Happy Mani Monday!
JCI Body Spa student Jennifer Stevens get a little creative in class! Her pineapple nails are super sweet and easy to achieve in just 5 steps. Paint them on all of your nails or use it as a great accent nail. Before you start, here are a few items that you will need for this look:
● Base coat, top coat*
● Yellow nail lacquer
● Green nail lacquer
● Brown nail lacquer
● Purple nail lacquer
● A thin striper, nail art, or paint brush (for detail work)
● Foil, scrap paper, or anything to act as a paint palette.
*Optional, but it’s always best practice to use.
Paint your nails with a purple polish. This will be the background color of the nail. Paint one coat on all fingers. Let it dry for a couple of minutes, then paint a second coat.
Paint 1/4 of an oval shape on the bottom left corner of your nail with your yellow polish. This will be the body of the pineapple.
Using your striper brush and brown polish, create diagonal lines that run across the yellow as seen below:
And there you have it – super cute pineapple nails!
