Happy Mani Monday!
JCI Body Spa student Bethany Would is excited to share some fun STRAWBERRY nail art. The best part? You can achieve this sweet look in just 4 easy steps! Before you start, here are a few items that you will need:
● Base coat, top coat* ● Red/pink nail lacquer ● Green nail lacquer ● Black and white nail lacquer ● A thin striper, nail art, or paint brush (for detail work) ● Foil, scrap paper, or anything to act as a paint palette.
*Optional, but it’s always best practice to use.
Step 2: Use your detailing brush and green nail polish to draw lines in a zigzag motion, closer to the cuticles to resemble the leaves of a strawberry. Fill in the rest of the the body with more green polish. Step 3: Mix your green and white polish to create a lighter shade of green. Using this green, use your brush to paint and blend on a few random lines on top of the leaves to create a textured effect. Step 4: Lastly, use your detail brush and black polish to create the black spots of the strawberry.
And there you have it! Sweet strawberry nails, perfect for this Summer weather. _________________________________________________________________
