Flower crown

In honour of Cinco de Mayo, let’s talk about flowers. Flower crowns, that is. Are they too trendy to wear everyday? Or are they only for festival goers? No way. It’s the easiest thing you can do to bring some instant summer to your hair!

Flower crown

Start with some soft waves, flat iron waves, or brushed through wand waves. Hit it all up with some Surf Spray by Bumble and bumble. Centre or side parts will work. Top it all off with your crown of flowers. Wear it like a headband or a crown across your forehead. The more daring you are, the bigger and bolder you can get.

Want something just sweet and simple? Go for small flowers like daisies and some simple greens. Fresh or fake flowers work- plastic ones that are wired are easier to wrap around a head band that’s easy to make on a budget. As always, start with a great layered cut, and soft beach spray to really nail this look. Short or long, this is absolutely a killer summer look!
