JOHN CASABLANCAS INSTITUTE

Lights, Camera, Creation. From beauty through to special effects courses, you will learn from award-winning professionals and industry experts as they show you how to create stunning looks for film, fashion and TV. JCI’s Makeup program covers all aspects of the industry, including photo shoot workshops, and was the first in Western Canada to teach airbrushing and prosthetics. Upon graduation, JCI Makeup grads can work as freelance Makeup artists in film, TV, theatre, special events, fashion, magazines, cosmetic sales; image consultants, out of kit effects artists, prosthetic artists, lab technicians, film/TV artists, body painters, or bridal consultants. Over the past few years employment rates have been between 86-93%.
