Top Shop hosted its live fashion show on Google+ and Youtube. During the broadcast viewers were able to connect to backstage cameras to get a behind-the-scenes look and also ask questions of the design team.They could also follow models from first fitting to runway walk.
A ‘Be the Buyer’ app allowed customers to create their own mood boards and mix and match their favorite pieces on the runway. They could also get advice from Top Shop’s in-house team and international buyers.
This project was done last year for the first time and two million people in over 100 countries watched the Top Shop Fashion Show. So the advances in fashion show production seem to be working.
