Last night at Vancouver Fashion Week JCI grad Lillea Goian blew us away with her collection, Lillz Killz. Taking the theme of motocross and sequins, you can see her unique style in the re-worked vintage pieces. Adorning many of the looks was original artwork, and her eye-catching logo. These one of a kind outfits were a treat to see walk down the runway, drew the attention of the crowd, and of Elle Canada! If you missed the show, check out these amazing photos:
We look forward to having Lillea back at school on Monday for our new Core Fashion Design program. With a focus on garment design and construction in class, she’s working toward her goal of showing at New York Fashion Week. After last nights success, we have no doubt she will make it there!
If you haven’t had then chance to check it out yet, Vancouver Fashion Week is continuing into the weekend at the Chinese Cultural Center. Make sure you pick up one of our #JCISEEFASHION cut outs and enter for your chance to win $500 at Nordstrom! We hope to see you there on Sunday, September 25th to support our grads Sally Omeme and Bonnie Chung on the final day of Fashion Week.
