Crash Safely

bike helmet.jpg

It may be cold out but the sun is shining which means clear roads for biking. Most of us know how to ride a bike, we learned when we were little kids. For years, we have worn helmets but when we take them off it creates helmet hair and gives us lines on our faces from the straps of the protective head gear.

Now two Swedish students, Anna Haupt and Terese Alstin, have designed the futuristic and soon to be very fashionable “Invisible Helmet.” The helmet wraps around the neck and inflates when you are about to crash. With over 7 years of research and redevelopment of the helmet, Haupt and Alstin have perfected the innovative idea.

How much is it? Well, the price is very steep, around 350 Euros, but it may be worth it to see the end of helmet hair!
