The countdown is on and we are gifting you a little early this year with fantastic holiday-inspired makeup looks created by John Casablancas Institute Makeup Artistry graduates and students. These may not be the looks you were thinking of creating for your Christmas dinner as they’ll give your grandmother a scare, but we are obsessed with the creativity from our talented graduates and wanted to share that with you!

Victoria Rasmussen

After competing and winning in our #JCI31DaysOfHorror contest, Victoria is back this month with spooky and creative Christmas looks.

Uh oh, it looks as if Victoria ran into the Santa’s plate of cookies before him. Don’t have too much sugar this season, kids.

Rudolph the red (infected) nose reindeer created using Ben Nye makeup.

Sam St. John

As Sam says, “‘Tis the season to be creepy!” The nightmare before Christmas is all over Sam’s Instagram and we are obsessed. Check out this candy cane inspired look she created this month.

Jessica Eaton

Christmas X-Ray makeup look created by JCI student Jessica Eaton.

The artistic details are amazing in this look, check out those zombie-like teeth!

Kimberley Margarita

Have you seen Disney’s The Nutcracker and  The Four Realms? JCI graduate and influencer Kimberley Margarita partnered with Disney and created this stunning floral look inspired by the land of flowers, one of the realms in the movie. Kimberley looks absolutely gorgeous!

Brooke Johnson

Winter is coming and makeup graduate Brooke Johnson is ready to slay this season in her creative holiday-inspired eyeshadow glam.

JCI’s Makeup Artistry Diploma Program has gained an industry-wide reputation for excellence, giving students an exceptional network of contacts and resources when they enter the marketplace. During the 10-month full-time program, students study everything from glamor and special occasion makeup to special effects makeup and prosthetics application techniques. With classes limited to 16 students, individualized attention and encouragement foster each student’s personal and professional growth potential.

John Casablancas Institute is the pioneer of prosthetic lab techniques and face casting in Western Canada. This advanced level of training affords our graduates amazing opportunities and a significant advantage for a career in film, TV or theater.
