The holidays are here, and you know what that means – We’re getting ready for the celebrations! We’ve teamed up with one of our star Fashion Business Graduates & Freelance Personal Stylist Ramandeep Gill. Ram will be showing us three of her favorite holiday looks made up of a casual, fun look. A Christmas party edgy style and finally a New Year’s Eve Sparkly Outfit. Ram will be pairing all looks with one staple item, a white satin blouse. Before diving in to the looks, let’s get to know Ram a bit better.

Ram has worked ten years in the retail industry, working in positions ranging from early entry level to management. She loves helping people and fashion, which got her to attend the Fashion Business Program at JCI Institute. Her passion in styling has grown from then on forward. She specializes in adding Indian Street Style accents to her looks and outfits, helping you stand out in the crowd. What’s her goal? Help women feel confident and beautiful through their wardrobe.

Let’s take a look at the looks!

For this, Ram decided to go with the traditional Ugly Christmas sweater that you may already own, or get from any store or thrift shop. She is styling the cardigan this with wide leg, high waisted mom jeans. These will look super cute with the short white blouse as its high-waisted. She will accessorize this look with big hoop earrings making any outfit look dressy.

For the second look, Ram is doing a  dressier Christmas party outfit. She’s using her favorite item of the season – plaids. A plaid oversized boyfriend blazer with a Christmassy vibe, which she is pairing with plaid trousers as well and Dr. Martens. For accessories, Ram has two options – first one, using red earrings to accentuate the redness in the blazer. The second option is using necklaces and a nose ring to dress up the look. No matter which option you choose, all eyes will be on you this Christmas Holiday!

And finally Ram’s New Year’s Outfit! This will be more of a fun sparkly look, we’re going to use, the same low key blouse, and place it underneath a sheer, embroidered blouse. We are pairing this with a mini skirt, some sparkly nude heels, and colorful bangles to help pop the color on the shirt.

For an alternative look, in case you’re not a fan of skirts, Ram has chosen a satin black trouser that will allow the look to still have a dressy feel to it. For accessories, we are going to do a gold watch and bangles. To add a pop of color some sparkly printed heels to bring the look altogether.
