John Casablancas Institute is beyond excited to announce that Lillea Goian, graduate of the JCI Fashion Business & Creative Arts and Core Design programs, will be showcasing her latest collection for her brand Profanity at New York Fashion Week this September.
Lillea, also known as ‘LillzKillz‘, is a Vancouver based fashion designer who creates gender fluid clothing that allows her clients to explore their individuality through her custom designs. Lillea has presented her collections at The JCI Fashion Show, Vancouver Fashion Week and recently Tokyo Fashion Week.

Her designs have been spotted in Elle Canada, on Canadian musician Peaches and American actor and singer, Noah Cyrus. She has also worked alongside with Cole Sprouse from the Netflix Original show Riverdale, who even reposted designs from Profanity on his Instagram!
Lillea has been invited to show at NYFW this September, giving her the incredible opportunity to present her art-inspired brand. The entry fees for NYFW total over $9,000 CAD (excluding accommodations and airfare).
A GoFundMe page was started for Lillea to reach a goal of $10,000 which was successfully met on August 21st, 2018.

JCInstitute proudly donated $940.00 towards the campaign:

“Lillea, it’s an honour to be able to help support you in your dream of New York Fashion Week! Everyone at JCI Institute is beyond thrilled for you and incredibly proud of your achievements. You have come such a long way since graduating and we are so excited to continue to watch you grow in the fashion industry. XOXO – JCI Institute.”

Lillea will be showing a collection that is inspired by “a ’90s white-trash family and their beat up car.” The audience will be witnessing a lot of used car parts as well as business/prep and athletic looks. (Sounds exciting!)

“I am absolutely thrilled that my community was able to help me reach my goal to get me to New York. It honestly feels surreal. I can’t wait to see what comes out of all of this!” – LillzKillz
