Persephone’s Groove

I want to get you in tune with the music at Persephone. What we want to convey on the runway at our fashion show is a sense of the mystical; softness and richness, ups and downs, evil and good. You will feel different emotions based on the music. For instance, some songs have mellow beats which make us feel safe and relaxed while other parts are more rough and edgy to instill fear.

The show will start with Ribs by Lorde. It is after this short but important 49 seconds of music that the audience will see for the first time the collections of the students.

Another nine musical pieces, selected by the designer and stylist students, will create the atmosphere at the Persephone fashion show. If you are interested in listening to the whole music collection there is only one thing to do, buy your ticket for the fashion show.

Join us on July 22nd, 2014 at Heritage Hall (3102 Main St) to experience the world of Persephone for yourself. Tickets are $15 for JCI students, $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. Doors Open at 6:30 P.M, show at 7:30pm. Net proceeds from the fashion show will be donated to Covenant House Vancouver.
