Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Gracen Marie Smith knew she wanted a career in the makeup industry at the age of eleven. Born and raised in Guyana, the only English speaking country in South America, Janica Tamika Sandy moved to Vancouver on January 3rd, 2018 to start the Makeup Artistry Program at John Casablancas Institute on January 4th. Janica competed at the 2018 Vancouver IMATS this past weekend, the largest makeup trade-show. From second and third place wins at IMATS Vancouver, to all that will inspire us to do creative makeup throughout the year.
