Visually Appealing Persephone

Fashion class 145 is climbing the ladder of creativity. We have been working hard on our year-end fashion show’s visual props that match our inspiration, the goddess Persephone.

We have made miniature paper dresses in origami form for the gift cards and have spray painted a huge tree branch white to hang them from. But first we did a test run of the look for Persephone, when we created a window display in the fourth floor Fashion Annex for Visual Merchandising 2.

You’ll have to come to the show to see how Heritage Hall is transformed into both springtime and the underworld.

Join us on July 22nd, 2014 at Heritage Hall (3102 Main St) to experience the world of Persephone for yourself. Tickets are $15 for JCI students, $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. Doors Open at 6:30 P.M, show at 7:30pm. Net proceeds from the fashion show will be donated to Covenant House Vancouver.
