What This Experience Includes
Event makeup is one of the most in-demand areas of the beauty industry—helping clients look and feel their best for weddings, graduations, photoshoots, special occasions, and milestone moments. It's also a valuable pathway for building a freelance makeup career, offering opportunities to work independently, build a personal brand, and develop a loyal client base.
This Look & Learn is designed to give prospective students a feel for the classroom experience at JCI through a live Special Event Makeup demonstration led by our instructor Andrea Salazar M.
During the session, you'll observe professional techniques, product selection, colour matching, and application methods used to create polished, event-ready looks. You'll gain insight into the creative and technical decision-making behind the artistry while experiencing the pace, energy, and teaching environment of the program firsthand.
You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions, connect with instructors, and spend time inside the studio environment while learning more about training and career opportunities in the beauty industry.
