Book hair, skin and spa services at JCI Institute on Robson Street in downtown Vancouver. Our student salon and spa are open to the public, with services performed by students as part of their hands-on training and supported by experienced instructors.

Because this is a learning environment, appointments may take a little longer than they would in a traditional salon or spa. Our students are building confidence, refining their techniques and gaining the experience they need to step into their careers. What to Expect

JCI is a working school, which means your appointment is part service and part learning experience.

Students perform services with instructor guidance and use professional products, tools and equipment throughout their training. Depending on the service and where a student is in their learning, an instructor will check in, demonstrate a technique or provide feedback along the way.

A few things to know before you book:

Appointments may take longer than at a traditional salon or spa
Services are performed by students who are actively practicing and refining their skills
Experienced instructors are available to provide guidance and supervision
Services are offered at accessible pricing
Your appointment helps students gain valuable hands-on experience with real clients
