To apply to JCI Institute as an international student, you must meet the following:

Students applying for admission to JCI Institute must meet the following admission requirements. No exemptions or waivers are permitted.
Applicants must have successfully completed Grade 12, or be a mature student (19 years of age or older) at the start of the program
Applicants must meet one of the language proficiency requirements listed below

All applicants must demonstrate an appropriate level of English language proficiency. One of the following must be met:
Completion of secondary or post-secondary education where English is the language of instruction
OR verified results from one of the following:
IELTS Academic: overall score of 5.5 or higher
CAEL: overall score of 40 or higher
Duolingo English Test: overall score of 95 or higher

International applicants must:
Provide a valid study permit (or co-op work permit) through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Maintain British Columbia Medical Services Plan (MSP) coverage
Please note: programs at JCI Institute are not eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) in Canada.
