The Vancouver Project Fashion Show

  • JCI Institute 200 – 1155 Robson Street Vancouver, British Columbia V6E 1B5 Canada (map)

A community-driven fashion design competition, hosted at JCI Institute.

We’re excited to welcome The Vancouver Project to JCI Institute on Robson, hosted by Rendezvous Social and Fairfax Is Dead. Created by JCI fashion grad Juliana and her creative partner Sid, the event brings Vancouver’s fashion and creative community together for an evening of design, collaboration and connection.

The Vancouver Project brings together designers, models, media, creators, industry professionals and fashion enthusiasts, with a focus on strengthening Vancouver’s creative community and creating more opportunities for emerging talent to connect, collaborate and build meaningful careers here at home.

The evening will centre around Vancouver’s first community-driven fashion design competition, featuring collections from local designers Jugal Joshi, Jackson Frazer (Thank Euphoria) and creative collective glue.

Working from the theme “Stranger than Fiction,” the designers will explore our increasingly intertwined relationship with technology—from AI and virtual realities to heightened surveillance—through fashion and creative expression.

Collections will be judged by Vancouver fashion industry figures Rachel Sudbury, Alexandra Dean of Adhere To Studios, and Alydar Hansen of Nena Hansen, with the winning designer receiving a prize package featuring products and experiences from local fashion, wellness and lifestyle brands.

We’re proud to provide the space for Juliana and Sid to bring this project to life and to welcome Vancouver’s creative community through our doors for the evening.

Doors: 6:30 PM
Presentation: 7:30 PM

Tickets are available through The Vancouver Project event page.
