From film and television to fashion campaigns and editorial shoots, JCI Makeup Artistry graduate Miel Enage has spent the last decade building a career around her love of art and creativity.
After graduating from JCI in 2016, Miel began her professional career with MAC Cosmetics, where she worked as a senior artist before making the move into freelance makeup artistry in 2020.
Since then, she's worked across a wide range of projects, with a client list that includes Disney, Hallmark, Nike, Lululemon and artists like Raveena and Mother Mother.
Based in Vancouver, Miel specializes in makeup for all skin tones and approaches her work with a focus on creativity, collaboration and the relationship between artist and client.
We recently caught up with Miel to talk about her time at JCI, finding her way into the industry and what she loves most about being a makeup artist.
