Where do I want to be when it begins?

Feeling It for Yourself
You wouldn’t rent an apartment without seeing it first. The same should go for your education. You deserve to walk through the space you’ll grow in—to meet the people who will guide you, to sense the energy that might just change everything.
That’s why, on Saturday, November 22, we’re opening the doors to our fashion department for an afternoon of exploration: an immersive, in-person session where you can experience what your future in fashion could look—and feel—like.
Inside The Fashion Annex: Immersive Info Session
Here, you’ll meet the mentors and instructors who not only teach but build the curriculum at JCI—professionals who understand what it means to work in today’s fashion industry, and what it takes to thrive in it. You’ll see creativity in motion: a live draping demo, a short illustration workshop, moments where ideas come to life in front of you and through you. You’ll tour our studios, talk with students, and discover the many ways this program can help you find your place—whether that’s in design, styling, marketing, or brand development.
Why We Don’t Teach Online
At JCI, we’ve always believed in the power of presence. The kind of learning that happens when you’re surrounded by others who are just as passionate and curious as you are. The kind that unfolds in real conversations, in shared moments, in the quiet buzz of a creative space that feels alive.
You’ll spend about 20 hours a week here, so it matters—the energy, the mentorship, the way it feels to belong. And that’s something you can only understand by being here, in person.
Showing Up, Even When It’s Scary
We know walking into an event like this can feel daunting—especially if you’re more of an observer than a spotlight-seeker. But this isn’t a day for standing on the sidelines. We’ve built it to be inclusive, collaborative, and safe—a space where questions are encouraged and curiosity is celebrated.

If you’re nervous about coming, know that everyone here—from our instructors to our students—once stood where you are now: uncertain, but ready to begin. Because that’s how dreams start.
